Adapted from the original 1949 painting by famous english artist, Lawrence Stephen Lowry. He had a distinctive style of painting and is best known for urban landscapes peopled with human figures often referred to as "matchstick men".
The design is stitched mainly with wool in half cross stitch and small details are added in back stitch with stranded cotton.
