Tree of Hope XLP19 (Sycamore Gap)

Special cross stitch kit created in memory of the felled Sycamore Gap tree - designed by Lucy Pittaway for Bothy Threads.  This design is showing the new sapling.

The tree stood next to Hadrian's Wall near Crag Lough in Northumberland until it was vandalised and felled on 28th September 2023.  It was also known as the Robin Hood tree due to it being featured in the film  Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.  

Contents: 14 count white Zweigart Aida with pre-sorted stranded cottons. It uses cross stitch, back stitch and one French knot.   This kit also includes a needle, a clear chart and instructions.  The finished design size is 26cm by 26cm.
